Just Stand Up

Beyonce: The heart is stronger than you think
It’s like it can go through anything
And even when you think it can’t it finds a way to still push on, though

Carrie: Sometimes you want to run away
Ain’t got the patience for the pain
And if you don’t believe it look into
your heart the beat goes on

Rihanna: I’m tellin’ you that
Things get better
Through whatever
If you fall, dust it off, don’t let up

Sheryl: Don’t you know you can go be your own miracle

Beyonce: You need to know

CHORUS
Sheryl: If the mind keeps thinking you’ve had enough
But the heart keeps telling you don’t give up

Sheryl/Beyonce: Who are we to be
questioning, wondering what is what
Don’t give up
THROUGH IT ALL, JUST STAND UP!

Fergie: It’s like we all have better days
Problems getting all up in your face

Leona: Just because you go through it

Fergie: Don’t mean it got to take control, no

Leona: You ain’t gotta find no hiding place

Keyshia: Because the heart can beat the hate

Leona: Don’t wanna let your mind keep playin’ you

Keyshia: And sayin’ you can’t go on

Rihanna: I’m tellin’ you that

Miley: Things get better
Through whatever

Rihanna: If you fall

Miley: Dust if off, don’t let up

LeAnn: Don’t you know you

Natasha: Can go

LeAnn: Be your own

Natasha: Miracle

Carrie: You need to know

Ensemble: CHORUS

Mary: You don’t gotta be a prisoner in your mind

Ciara: If you fall, dust it off

Mary: You can live your life

Rihanna/Carrie: Yeah

Mary: Let your heart be your guide

Rihanna/Carrie: Yeah yeah yeah

Mariah: And you will know that you’re good if you trust in the good

Ashanti: Everything will be alright, yeah
Light up the dark, if you follow your heart

Mary: And it will get better

Mariah: Through whatever

CHORUS

Fergie: You got it in you, find it within
You got in now, find it within now
You got in you, find it within
You got in now, find it within now
You got in you, find it within
Find it within you, find it within
Everyone: THROUGH IT ALL, JUST STAND UP!

This is truly an inspiring song. It's sung for stand up to cancer and I think it doesn't apply on only that, there are many people who suffer in different ways and often want to give up. This song gives me strength and reminds me that I can stand up. The lyrics is for the recorded version:

Just Stand Up - Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Leona Lewis, Leann Rimes, & Carrie Underwood
The live version is sung on stage but with a slight difference in people where we have Nicole Scherzinger

Privileged

Two rich girls, having big rooms, drivers, parties to go to. Shopping at any time they like and having no limit to their credit card. They think they own the world, they see themselves higher in society. Ditching school whenever you like, I wish I could be them too. Sadly, they have no one to supervise them as their grandmother is busy, and their parents died in an accident. The sisters have always stick together and do practically everything together. In comes tutor, hired by their grandmother to help their grades improve. Their grandmother wants them to enter a prestigious college, The Duke.

Based on the book "How To Teach Filthy Rich Girls" by Zoey Dean, it has been made into a series called Privileged by CWTV. Set in the beautiful beaches of Florida, with all those big mansions, our main character Megan Smith starts a new life, a path to help her pursue her dreams (to be a writer). Of course, that's just part of the story, her main job is to tutor two rich brats.

Throughout the series, sister relationships are highlighted, we see the relationship of Megan and her sister Lily and the rich brats, Sage and Rose Baker. It shows how strong sisters can be and how they could also drag you down someway. Other than that, Megan also have a fear in dating, she is afraid that whoever she dates will cheat on her, a phobia brought on by her sister who dated her 1st boyfriend. Not so nice a scene if you ask me, not easy to deal with either.

So far into three episodes we see three handsome guys appearing, we have Charlie (her best friend), Will (her neighbour, more like the Baker's neighbour) and Jacob (the headmaster of the school Rose and Sage goes to). The are quite good looking, different types of men in terms of looks and personality. I'm definitely rooting for Charlie because you can see this best friend of hers has always been there for her, don't know what he's waiting for anyway.

I love that this show that talks about pursuing your dream, which is quite like mine (to be a writer). It reminds me of not being too side tracked. A reminder to me that pursuing my dream is not easy but you shouldn't be afraid to chase after it. Often people who are afraid of failing avoid the things they like. In order to not be disappointed, we avoid, we run away from it. We should at least try before being afraid of the outcome. You'll never know, we have to let loose and try our best. Life has up and downs, we all know it, we can't always have ups only. It's the downs that makes you a stronger person as you rise up from the fall.

Fall is here!!

Finally fall/autumn is here, actually it's already mid-autumn. Anyway what's so exciting? The new seasons of tv series are back again, not to forget the japanese animation will soon start their new titles for the season too.

On the 1st of September, some series have already started, Gossip Girl Season 2, One Tree Hill Season 6, 90210 the new one, Privileged which started last week. I like GG, One Tree Hill alot. These are still very good series to watch, Privileged is something new which I enjoyed too. 90210 on the other hand is kinda boring already at the start. Don't think I'll continue on with the series.

One thing that I truly can't wait is Heroes season 3. There will be a three hours preview on 22nd September, really can't wait. Everyone is wondering what more can this series bring to us. Next week itself we have many series back on air, Desperate Housewives (5 years later thingy), Ugly Betty (what's her decision), Survivor new seaon. These series always kept me busy in this season of the year. For me, summer is always filled with movies, fall with tv series. Yeah, I know I'm hooked up to all these tv shows and movies. It's really addictive for me.

Anyway, I've added a small thing on my blog, Quote of the week. I find that quotes gives me alot of inspiration and makes me think alot. It's able to at least help me point myself at the right direction. Hopefully I won't be lazy and will update the quote every week. Back to life and reality time :P

BUM 2008

It was a very fun trip that I've gone to in a long time. The meeting time was 6:45am at A&W at PJ, buses left around 7:50am. It was a long ride to the hotel, reached there at pass 1pm. After registering, I went to my room and put down my stuff, changed into shorts and headed for lunch. After lunch was the opening ceremony, it was good, didn't take any pictures cause I was busy watching :P. The next thing was meetings according to break up of industries of the company, I didn't attend because I had to practise with my performance team on stage. After practise, I got to rest a bit and then went to register for the DOTA championship that I'm taking part with my project team members at 10pm. Then rush to get ready for performance, we had to put on body paint on our faces, my group performance is on Greek fashion show, it was one of a kind where we have 3 Gods, Apollo, Poseidon and Aphrodite. The "gods" performer has to have body paint on the whole face and hands, where else the "workers" halfed face. I'm the so called workers so I have half of my face painted in silver colour.

It was a great performance. After that, I ate and went to wash my face for the DOTA championship. It was a tiring game, three rounds to determine the finalist, and my team (The Illuminati) entered the finals. For the preliminary, we won 2 games and lost 1 to KNN, they were very good. 2 more games in the finals, and we won 1 and lost 1, took second place. BTW, there was only two girls playing, myself and another girl, both of us used Lina Inverse (Slayer). I had great team mates, they are the good players and I'm still noob, but I still did not too bad, didn't die too much, had a few kills, manage to solo one on one too and killed ppl. They come backstab me and I manage to kill them back. I definitely improved my game :P.

Well the second day was good, I've always loved buffet breakfast :P. After breakfast it was time for games, lots of it too. Everyone was broken down into teams of 10-15 I guess, but my team only had like 10 of us. It was really tiring, we had math games, torch relay, throwing/hitting all kinds of balls (tennis, football, golf,...) into hoops to score points, creating protections for eggs and tossing them, synchronised swmming. It was all in the morning till lunch time. After lunch, I went cycling with my project team members, just me and some of the guys, the others went to rest. It was really tiring cause I havent been cycling for a long time. The view and the breeze was definitely good but cycling back was killing me >.<. Night time was dinner time, it was okay, then there was dancing, and people were tossed into the sea. There was also lucky draw and prize giving. It was the last night and I was really tired, went to sleep at 2am. The next day came and it was time to leave. Overall it was a wonderful weekend and good to meet new people. Okay here are the pictures below:

You can view the pictures in full screen.

Updates!!

There's quite a few of events that happenned since the last blog, didn't really keep track of time. Just gonna post a few pictures on it. 25th July my colleagues organized a Luau Party, hawaiin theme. So less story, more pictures, cause a picture is worth a thousand words.

So the next thing would be BUM, a company trip, there's gonna be like 300-400 people, I will be performing cause I'm a new joiner of the company. Will be leaving for Lumut this friday for the trip, 08.08.08, and yes it's on the 1st day of the olympics, won't be watching it on tv :(. Will update on BUM then.

Wicked

It's has been awhile since I've visited a book store. Whenever I get the chance to visit Borders, MPH or Kinokuniya, I love to slowly walk through the book sections that I enjoy looking for something interesting to read. The first thing that attracts me is the book cover which I guess it's normal for most people. Then I'll read the summary, the prologue or the 1st chapter. Next thing I look at will be the taglines on the book such as "New York Times Best Seller" and the awards given. Many other criterias are looked into, writer, genre, even the book font type. Bad font type is a big No No for me. Wouldn't want to damage my eyes more :P.

Currently I'm reading "Wicked" by Gregory Macguire and I bought this book because it is made into a Broadway musical in the US which I learn about from the series Ugly Betty. The design of the book itself is cool whereby the one I bought has green pages at the side of the book but the inside is not green though. This book is about the wicked witch in the children's fairy tales, The Wizard of Oz, on how she became a witch, the story about her life. I haven't finish it, about 65% done. It's one of the most interesting fantasy books I've read. Normally we have heroes like warriors, priest, magicians, thief and many more. This one is about the antagonist which is a witch. It tells what happened when she was still an unborn child till her death.

I like it because it doesn't involves demons and monsters like the typical fantasy books. This is more about the evil hearts of human. A bit of politics are involved too. I give it a rating of 7/10, so far it's still the Harry Potter series that keeps me reading non stop. I do recommend this book if you want a different kind of fantasy.

Life gone dull.......Just kidding!!

Walking in you find many walls high up, about 5 feet, it gives you the feeling of being in a maze. Make a wrong turn, you're in a dead end. Where is it?? Where is the pantry??? Want refill my bottle lar :P. So recently I have move into a new office, I was in Wisma 2 but now moved to Wisma 4 2nd floor where Nicholas used to work there. Used to be in a discussion room with 3 other colleagues of mine, now I have my own cubicle. It's kinda nice having my own space, making myself at home :P.

Anyway the cubicles are 5 feet high, seriously had the feeling of being in a maze when I first entered. I was kinda lost when walking back from the pantry, tot it was a walkway to my cubicle, ended in someone else's cubicle. HAHA. Feel like taking pictures but lazy bring camera.

What's new?? Well, got myself a Nintendo Wii to play. It's very fun, I play tennis every night, see I still got exercise :P. Mario Kart is extremely fun to play in multiplayer mode. Sadly, lately not much time to play cause have a lot of work to do. Two modules to handle, ugh so tiring. One down and I have one more to go. Hopefully the upper won't want to change design again >.<.

Upcoming events would be SWF development day on 11th July, looking forward to meeting new people and having a bit of fun for one day. The next event would be a big one, all Accenture staff in KL will be involved, BUM, business unit meeting. The place would be Lumut, Perak, 3Days2Nights stay. I'll be performing in this event because I'm a new joiner. Will try to take pictures and post it.

I will try to spend my weekends more fun beside shopping or just lying around on my bed :P, also playing Wii :p. Need to find a bit more spice in my life if not sure burn out quickly. Till the next time I blog, it shall be interesting :P

Cupcake rocks!!

Lately I bumped into a blog where the writer shows her cupcake creations, it was wonderful and made me crave for it. In her blog she also mentioned another baker from the USA. She has also baked wonderful cupcake. The malaysian blog is : dolce~ and the US one is Bakerella. It is very interesting, you might learn a thing or two.

On saturday night after dinner at my grandma's place, my sister and I got bored, so We went to the Curve and Ikano Power Center. On our way back from Ikano to The curve, we saw a poster, a place called cupcake chic. Since it was just near us, we head towards it. They sell cupcakes there and we bought two. Nice package, great cupcakes. I only took two pictures:

Chocolate with vanila frosting (left) Green tea with green tea frosting

Looks nice leh?? Taste good also, you can find this shop at the Curve side that is facing Ikano Power Center and it's just one shop away from Gloria Jeans. I miss it already, will try other flavours when I go there again. :D

Idol gives back

I have been following American Idol season 7 since the beginning and was quite impress with the talent this year. Although there are some that I feel that they should have been gone soon but have still stayed on. Jason Castro and Kristy Lee Cook are the people I feel that should have been voted off instead of Ramielle and Amanda. This year the male singers are very good. Well back to my title, Idol gives back, it was a great thing that they have done.

I didn't know much about the sufferings of Africa until I watched this. It was saddening to know that 30 seconds a child dies of malaria in Africa, other than that, there are many children that have lost their parents to AIDS and need their grandparents to care for them. This is one hardship in life that I know you and I who are in our comfort zones might not have the strength to go through compared to those children.

What I want to urge to everyone is to do something, if you want to travel there and help them, do so with a plan. If you want to donate, find means to donate, donate as much as you can. All my friends who are working, I'm sure rm 100 or 200 is okay to donate out. Since we're working, losing a bit of spending money gives great help to those in africa. My plan is to sponsor a child from World Vision. In doing this, we helped a child, to give them hope and to give them a chance for education. So please take a look at the world vision link and I hope you will help out.

Another thing I would like to highlight would be the KL freeze@ Pavilion. For more info check out http://me.zestful.org/2008/04/video-kl-freeze-pavillio/ or http://randomalphabets.com/. I came across it on thestar.com.my, take a look at it.

Play a part in the community

Somehow with all the hustle and bustle of life I have forgotten something important to me, that is our mother earth, our environment and all living things. I was working on a website that focuses on these but it failed because of the lack of planning and doing it with less experience and help. People would go so what?? If you really cared, nothing can stop you. I gave up because of dissapointment in various areas.

So today I came across something that reminded me of it again. Therefore I have researched a little bit on information that can help us start playing a part in saving the environment that we might lose in the future. Firstly I would like to mention Live Earth, it focuses on climate crisis. There are many useful information on how we can reduce in consuming energy and reducing carbon footprint. Explore the site and learn more, you can also calculate your carbon footprint. What is carbon footprint? It is the amount of carbon you helped release into the environment.

One of the famous environmental organizations is WWF. They focus on saving wildlife such as the sea turtles, orang utans and tigers for Malaysia. We all can also take part by sms and donating rm 3 for saving the turtles. For more info on how to sms, visit the website. It is important that we all do something, even if it's a small thing. Influence the people around you and one small thing will accumulate to a big one. This weekend I shall try to compile a list of things we can do in Going Green.

Topics, topics...

I have always loved writing, of course it's not writing technical documents such as the ones we're required to do for our FYPs. I prefer writing on something that has much freedom. Lately, I've been thinking on improving my blog and adding in more topics. Firstly, I think I shall ask myself what would I like to read from blogs before I ask around. There are many things that can be written down. What I observed from other blogs, they cover traveling, technology, food, daily life, objects such as cars, bikes, toys and many others.

Therefore there are many things to write, but what I am good at? What do I have interest in? I think sharing on my knowledge and my opinion on the things I like are worth reading :p. Unless you disagree with me and have better topics for me. Given a title, I may be able to write it but depending on the information I have and inspiration for that title. Putting some thought to it, I think I shall start by writing my opinions/reviews on things that I have interest in or objects that I use. It may not be good but in time I hope to improve my diversity on different kind of topics. My advise to people who want to improve like myself is to read more on different things that interest you, pick out writers that inspire you and see the style they have in writing and discover your own as you discover other's.

D.Gray-man

I'm here to introduce as the title says D.Gray-Man. As all my friends would know I am a big fan of japanese animation. I have started watching since I was young. My grandma used to borrow tapes that were in cantonese for me to watch. It was very enjoyable. Currently I am watching a few titles and there are more on my list which I have missed.

This animation originated from the manga itself and brought more life to the series. Many of us love to read manga and sometimes it takes our imagination to make the pictures move. But we need not do that because we have people who make animation out of it. So what's the story about?? At first glance you wouldn't know much, you would think this is a story bout a boy who can fight demons and he would save the world.

Along the story he met up with people in a society that are all like him and also supporting people like him. He made friends and the story goes on. What captured me was the mystery behind the characters, they developed slowly. Of course there are somethings that are typical, you fight and you win. There are also parts where people dies, must be more realistic lar. :P Other than all that, they have great openings and endings. What I like bout an anime like this one is the suspend they give the viewers, some episodes are funny, some are serious and with a lot of action that makes you want to watch one after another. For this anime, currently it is at the peak of the story again which makes things exciting again.

Need more time

I remembered when I had my holidays, my lifestyle was a bore, everyday I do the same thing. But at least I enjoyed it, I rant of boredome once in a while but still it was ok. I loved what I was doing and sometimes I thought I had a lot of time in my hands. Lately, with work I realise I need more time, hopefully 36hours a day. I have done some calculation on the time spent for everyday.

Traveling to and fro work : 3 hrs
Working : 8 hrs
Lunch : 1 hr
Get ready b4 work : 30mins
Dinner : 30mins
Sleep : 7hrs
Time left : 4hrs

The total time left is 4 hours but seriously I don't feel that I really have that much of free time to spend. Everytime I come home and eat dinner, then I shower and I look at the clock it's almost 10 and then I sleep at 12am. Where the hell all those hrs and mins go. Haihz, I wish I could relax more every night before I go to work next day, then I will feel more refreshed and motivated to work. I miss my holidays, I want it back!!!! Now I really wished I was still studying, somehow FYP doesn't seem hard and assignments are lot comforting than the work I have now.

How's work in Shell?? Traveling to Cyberjaya is draining my life slowly, my parents are planning to get me a car soon, I hope they do it quick, public transport is so crowded sometimes. Oh well, last friday was fun, Accenture had this EWF/SWF community day. Enterprise and solution workforce combined and I had a fun day. We had presentations in the morning, then lunch is provided. Then we had games in the afternoon according to teams. Nicholas left before lunch was served. The first game we had was human cluedo, which requires the team to go to several places in 1 utama new wing and search for clues to determine who is the kidnapper, weapon used and lastly the venue. My team was there first with the correct answers so we won for this game.

Before the second game started, everyone was give a 1GB kingston thumbdrive, it is red in colour and it was the thumbdrive with the newest design. Captain ball was tough and tiring. I participated in the 1st round we had. The opponents were very aggresive and I was crashed into by a colleague and got step on the leg at the same time. After that round, I was too tired to take part in the next one. By the way we won the 1st round but lost the following one. It was a fun day. The day ended with the lucky draw competition.

I won 1 of the lucky draw prizes and I was so blur when they called my name. Anyway the prize was a big box and I couldn't guess what it was. Went home and opened it and it was a toaster oven. Was really tired when I got home so after dinner I just rested on my bed and read. Looking forward to the next event, annual dinner and dance.

2nd day of CNY

Today I got to woke up around 10:30 am and then my mummy says we'll be visiting a family friend. They are the people my parents used to hang out with when they were dating, sadly, the kids dun do that haha :P. After that we tarpau lunch and head to grandma's place.

Today my aunty went back to her mum's place in Cheras, so no kaki for mahjong :P. My sis and I decided to go out for movie, since cineleisure damansara so near. My sis drove and we got a parking quickly and head to the cinema floor. I thought it would be quiet in KL, but suprisingly there were many people there. We bought tickets to watch CJ7, it wasnt that good of a movie, not that funny at all. Kinda disappointed. After that we went to The Curve to take pictures and then head home and have dinner. After that we said goodbye to my aunty who lives in Belgium.

Below are some pictures taken for these two days:

Happy Chinese New Year!!!

Gong Xi Fa Cai!!! Xin Nian Kuai Le!! Those are in mandarin :P. I have been very busy this whole week, including last week so I haven't been able to update my blog. To update a bit on what have happened, last last saturday I went to Accenture Open Day by invitation and it was my first interview. Before my interview, we had a test (either java or c#) and followed by a IQ test. Then I had my interview and I was told that they will contact me within 2 weeks. The following tuesday, they contacted me and I had my phone interview. That night itself we had a surprise birthday party for Eu Gene, so before we went to his place, I went shopping in 1 Utama but nothing to buy.

On the same week thursday, accenture called me on wednesday and I had my final interview. Went shopping abit after a 30 mins interview with my sister in KLCC. She waited for me while I have my interview. I got the job!! Will be working for acccenture starting 11th Feb. My workings days are beginning and I didn't get to enjoy CNY much. Sadly, I have to work in cyberjaya too.

Oh well, not all things will go your way. CNY eve went to grandma's place for dinner, it was a long night and I didnt have enough sleep for the previous night. Today itself I had to wake up early, like 8 sumthing and get ready to go temple. After meeting with my grandma, uncle and family and my aunt (from belgium) at the temple, we did what we need to and then proceeded to grandma's place. Many relatives came to visit, it was a fun day because I learnt how to play mahjong, of course still not skillful lar. I don't know how to count money and all that cause we didn't play money but I do know how to arrange the tiles to win.

'Time to go sleep, tomorrow will be another long day spent at my grandma's place. I won't be going back Segamat Johore this year, this is because my aunts (dad's side) came back after many years for CNY. Ciao, will update more later!!

The way to show biz

Artists in singing and acting all have one goal, that is to be famous. Many people want to be like them, therefore we have competitions such as American Idol, Malaysian Idol, One in a Million, Star Idol, and many more that showcase people's talent. There are people who make it without all those and they have done well. I have two person in mind, they are Colbie Caillat and Marie Digby.

Colbie made it big with posting her song on MySpace and Marie did it by singing an acoustic version of umbrella and posting it on Youtube. Now you can hear their songs on our local radio stations and they really have talent. What they have done that is smart is utilising technology. Posting on the internet is a great way to share your music, many people are able to access it. Because it is good, people start passing it around, and it reaches people who are interested in producing records for them.

For them to make it big, all they needed was to market their talent and the internet did it well for them. It is something they tried and it was worth the shot, now their beautiful voices can be heard. Below is the song Bubbly from Colbie:

The lyrics are good, she wrote this song herself (I think, that's what I heard :P)

Below is Marie Digby's version of Umbrella:

Hope you enjoy their music as much as I do

Entertainment or life lessons???

Since I don't have a job yet I have plenty of time to spare :P. Lately I have been watching a lot of tv shows. Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, Heroes, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, 30 rock and Scrubs and also Friends. These shows give entertainment to the viewers, all great in their own way, usually a little lesson behind each episode.

One Tree Hill season 5 has just started again and it came with a good season premiere. There are a number of things highlighted in the show, have integrity as a person and remember to stay true to who you are. It's your life, take a stand, feel that you're under control? it's time to stand up. You might lose your dream, but you don't lose everything, start fighting again. That's why I love tv shows, so much entertainment and lessons to learn. And not to forget the fashion too :P. I love to watch what the female characters wear and from there I observe what fashion trend is up overseas.

All tv shows always have a lesson to learn, by noticing each character in the show you can see their personality and how they grow.Sometimes people around you give advices that you can't seem to accept and tv shows can reach out to you when you're in that moment. It's good to reflect on what you watch and what you learn from it. Life is always full of ups and downs, so we face it straight on and keep living!!

P.S: I Love You

Saying I love you at the right time brings about a different feeling in the heart. It brings meaning into people's life too, it gives hope and knowing that you're being loved gives people the will to live on. P.S I Love You is a book I read written by Cecilia Ahern. It's a chic flit that I started to read after I got bored of fantasy books, you know the same old same old? Warriors, hunters , priests , a party grouped together to kill/destroy/eliminate the bad guy/evil demon/evil person. Sometimes it's hunting treasures, sometimes it's war.

This book that I read made me realised something that I haven't thought about. First the summary of the book. It's about this woman who married her childhood sweetheart and it was a happy marriage that did not last long , why? Because the husband discovered he had leukemia, of course in the end he died. The story doesn't end with him dying, after some time, the wife still misses him alot and always stayed at home, not wanting to live life without him, not wanting to be happy without him. Her birthday arrives and he sent her a cake along with a letter. Inside the letter, he told her that he has a plan for her and one letter will arrive every month.

The husband is so thoughtful to think of all these even when he was struggling with cancer. Every month the letters came and telling her to do somethings, things that made her happy and reminded her that he is always with her and that she can move on and be happy again. It also told her that doing all those things will not make her forget about him. The book ended with her being able to get on her feet again and continue to love him and live life. Ps: all letters end with ps: i love you.

After reading this book, I thought of things such as life comes and goes easily so we should live life fullest every second. Appreciate and show as much love as you can to be people around you. Even better if you can show love to people who need that love too. Sometimes I know I neglect the people I love and often disappoint them. I really hope that this year will be a better year and that I will learn from my mistakes and make them proud. The thing that I need the most this year is optimism which I always seem to lack of. Thinking negative for me is so easy and always worrying on things that are the least of my problems too. When I think negatively I affect the people around because it's so hard for them to encourage me when I shoot them back with negativity. I really thank you all that has put up with this from me. I will try to change and let's all hope for the best for the people we love.

Remember to say I love you with all your heart at every moment that counts in life!!

A whole new year

Time really flies, thinking about what happened last year makes me miss it. Like everyone there was ups and downs but I can conclude that it was a better year than 2006. Whatever new year's resolution I had last year, I really can't remember whether I did achieved it. So this year I will blog out my list, which is a small one.
  • Try to eat more fruits and vegetable (I totally hate veggy :P)
  • Start exercising/work out
  • Use my brain more :P
  • Be more careful in performing tasks
  • Be less wasteful in spending money
Haha, those are the things that I call my flaws. Hopefully I can fix it. I haven't gotten a job yet because I'm waiting to obtain my cert from APIIT. It will be this month, I hope there won't be anymore delays. The reason I'm doing this is because I didn't do well for my FYP. I got 7, 6 , 7 for the module of FYP. Yeah, those are lousy results, if I showed my transcripts, it would affect my image towards the people who are hiring. Sigh, I'm really sad on my FYP but I can't run away with it. So after obtaining my cert, I'm going to apply for jobs and if they asked for my results I have no choice but to show it. I will try my best to impress them that I'm a hardworking person and results aren't everything :P.

So for the time being, I will learn more on C# and review back the programming languages that I've learn from college. All of it almost slipped my mind already, time to review and remember :P. Wish me luck!!
